Description
Kai tenor ukulele KTI-90 maple
This tenor version from the new Kai 90 series is a model whose body is made entirely of flamed maple and, as with all Kai ukuleles, has a second, oval sound hole that also radiates the instrument's sound to the player. The maple models sound brighter and more present than mahogany ukuleles and offer a lot of freshness and assertiveness.
The neck is made of nato, the bridge and the fingerboard with 18 frets are made of morado, a South American wood that is very reminiscent of rosewood. Nubone is used for the bridge inlay and nut. The scale length is 430 mm. The instrument has an open-pore, thin high-gloss finish. The headstock is attractively finished with a flamed maple veneer and four closed chrome-plated tuners allow reliable tuning. Standard tuning G-C-E-A.
Kai ukuleles with the second sound hole provide a good deal of extra clarity and volume. The monitor is included here. As well as a matching gig bag.
