Description
ACME Thunderer 60.5 whistle - Small
In the 1980s, the British toolmaker Joseph Hudson recognized that the equipment of British police officers with rattles was not sufficient. He developed whistles (pea whistles) in the shape of a snail, which used a dried pea to produce deafening signals. This is how they got their name: Thunderer = thunder.
This was the beginning of the Thunderers' worldwide success. Today, in addition to the police, FIFA, the UN, lifeguards and various music clubs, for example, are equipped with the Thunderer. The whistle has become indispensable today.
