This flute stand was designed for an alto or tenor recorder. The plastic cone has a diameter of 9 mm and is reinforced on the inside with a steel core to prevent the cone from breaking. The stand is extremely stable thanks to its four feet. For transportation, the screw thread above the legs can be easily loosened, the legs can be folded upwards and the thread can be screwed back on. When folded up, the stand is about the size of half a soprano recorder, so it can be stored anywhere, even in your pocket if necessary. So if both the tenor and alto recorders are used during a performance, the unused recorder can stay in the stand while the other is being played. This stand is also ideal for storage, as the upright position of the recorder allows condensation to drain downwards, thus preventing damage to the instrument. This reduces damage to the instrument.
