This alto model is a particularly beautiful sounding instrument, has a strong character with a pronounced low register, inspired by the sound of a high baroque alto recorder. The wide inner bore produces a full-bodied, bright and powerful sound across the entire register. The ergonomic positioning of the fingers allows a high level of playing comfort and a relaxed posture.

The Superio 2406 requires a high blowing pressure. The inside is treated with kerosene, the surface must be oiled regularly. Tuning in f', a' = 442 Hz. Ideal as a solo instrument and in ensembles, with a sound that adds dynamics to the playing.
