Set of five solid ash blocks
There was nothing like it before.
The Black Swamp Bentwood Temple Blocks are shaped from a single piece of ash wood. Natural, round shapes that were previously only known from Chinese temple blocks. The blocks produce a warm, open tone, just as the discerning musician expects from a perfect temple block. The BSP Bentwood Temple Blocks are a masterpiece of sound and woodworking.
The body of the Black Swamp Bentwood Temple Blocks is bent from a solid piece of ash wood into the unique, rounded shape. The sides are made with Finnish birch veneer. This manufacturing process not only provides a better temple block sound, but also enhances it significantly.
The curved shape is a feast for the eyes, and is also responsible for the typical warm, round sound of a traditional block. This sound can never be produced by a plastic block or rectangular wood block.
