The snare fully exploits the strengths of a brass shell. The relatively thick 1.5mm brass shell offers a fat, powerful sound with a warm, full resonance. The 2.3mm flanged hoop increases the openness of the snare and the 42-spiral (!) snare tip provides a snare sound that is second to none.
