Description
ACME Toronado T2000 whistle
In the 1980s, the British toolmaker Joseph Hudson realized that the equipment of British police officers with rattles was not sufficient. He developed whistles (pea whistles) in the shape of a snail, which used a dried pea to produce deafening signals.
This was the beginning of the worldwide success of the Thunderer. Today, in addition to the police, FIFA, the UN, lifeguards and various music clubs, for example, are equipped with the Thunderer. The whistle has become indispensable today.
