Special feature

The brown peghead of the Passione G string is kept longer compared to the A and D strings. This is intentional and part of the design. The longer spinning at the peg end prevents the string from breaking in the pegbox. The stretching process of the string is completed after two to three days at the latest. After that, the peg spinning is located behind the top saddle in the pegbox. This is generally the case, as we have established after numerous tests with different violins. On many violins, the G-string of the Passione already fits the first time it is strung.
