With the Whammy Ricochet, DigiTech has heralded the next round of Whammy. For the first time, the legendary Whammy pedal has been packed into a compact housing, saving valuable space on the notoriously small pedalboards. The bulky pedal is replaced on the Ricochet by a button that can be used either as a momentary switch or footswitch.

There are 7 pitch shift programs available: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, Octave, 2 Octaves and Octave + Dry, all old acquaintances from the previous models. An LED chain indicates the direction and interval of the pitch shifting. In addition to the classic Tom Morello and David Gilmour style octave shifts, deceptively real-sounding tremolo lever simulations can also be created.

In addition, the Chords mode already known from the Whammy DT is available, with which slide and steel guitar effects can be simulated.
