In order to achieve this small miracle, costs were saved wherever there was no compromise in sound or playability. Visually, the guitars of the 15 series are absolutely simple. No bindings, a matt finish and minimalist inlays in the fingerboard made from East Indian rosewood convey a modest appearance and the body with mahogany top, sides and back support the visual understatement of these guitars. The Streetmaster models in the 15 series also have an aged mahogany burst finish to evoke the feeling of a trusted partner of an experienced musician. In contrast to the regular 15 Series models, the fingerboards of the Streetmaster models are made of Katalox. The 000-15M Streetmaster brings the advantages of the 15 Series to the classic Martin shape of a 000 model with neck joint at the 14th fret. Not as massive as a dreadnought, but still big enough to deliver a decent performance. The 000-15M Streetmaster is built in the same way as the 000-15M, apart from the finish and the fingerboard.
