A thicker 6 mm axle ensures durability. Oiles spherical bearings (from the aerospace industry) cause far less friction than standard ball bearings. In addition, they eliminate unwanted sideways movements and thus support stability. The bearing housing of the Speed Cobra is installed in the Tama Iron Cobra pedals and allows easier movements due to a lower load on the ball bearings.
