The Ganschhorn arose from the desire of many trumpeters to combine the playing advantages of a rotary valve with those of a perinet trumpet. The bell design is also considered advantageous by many players, as it allows better contact with the audience or microphone. Together with Thomas Gansch, the Schagerl company developed this unique instrument with a built-in rotary valve machine. This results in pleasant perinet handling with the short distances of a rotary valve machine. The specially curved bell also makes the Ganschhorn a real "eye-catcher".

 

The Ganschhorn, which was developed in the Schagerl master workshop together with me, is the ideal instrument for all "all-rounders". I can use it for all types of music, whether I'm playing in a big band, symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, studio or brass band. The special shape of the Ganschhorn is a great advantage when you are on stage, playing and entertaining.
