In 1964 Willy Wolf developed the first Wolf shoulder rest in his residence in Amsterdam. Shortly afterwards, the first order for 500 pieces arrived and just one week later, another 500 - remember that every single one of these rests is made by hand 

With a lively exchange with musicians from the Utrecht Symphony Orchestra, Wolf improved his prototype and created new models to create the right rest for every shoulder. Through this exchange with professional musicians Wolf shoulder rests are subject to continuous innovation to this day.

Ergonomic playing

The main part of the Forte Primo shoulder rest is made of comfortable rubber and aluminum plating. This allows players to adjust the support individually and thus play according to their own ergonomics.

Also included are two plastic spacer tubes that make it possible to keep the arms stable even in the highest position.
