Description
Küng bass recorder model 2611 Superio pearwood stained
The Küng success story of this bass recorder is based on one year of development and research by the passionate recorder maker Geri Bollinger. For over 15 years, many hundreds of these instruments have enriched countless ensembles around the world with their robust, warm, strong sound. The 2611 has a good, low register with a clear highest register and is very versatile in ensemble or solo use. The bend allows for an acoustically outstanding instrument, which would not be possible with a blowpipe.
Tuning f', pitch a' =442 Hz, medium blowing pressure, requires a lot of air. Somewhat wide grip due to large finger holes. The outer shape is not historical but is adapted to the Küng Superio line. Medium block height and wide inner bore with large blade spacing. Treated with kerosene on the inside, stained on the outside.
On request, a spike can be mounted and/or the grip holes of the left hand can be drilled slightly narrower.
