Einen repräsentativen Einblick in das 19. und 20. Jahrhundert, ergänzt um einzelne Stilkopien, will diese Notenedition mit Orgelmusik von Komponistinnen geben. Die Bereiche Avantgarde und Jazz wurden in dieser Sammlung bewusst ausgeklammert.
Die Kompositionen haben grundsätzlich einen höchstens mittleren Schwierigkeitsgrad sowie eine maximale Spieldauer von 5 Minuten. Somit sind sie vor allem für den gottesdienstlichen Gebrauch gedacht.
