Schickele Top o' the Millennium

To the listener, Peter Schickele's Top o' the Millennium is a
five-movement suite for two violas, with the dance-inspired charm
found in many of Schickele's chamber music suites-a rich blend of
American folk rhythms, with sophisticated explorations and added
spice. However, violists will find an extra layer of delight in the
score. Composed in the first days of the year 2000, the movement
titled 01/01/00 (composed on that date) begins with a pattern fingered
010100, the next movement titled 01/02/00 starts with a phrase
